Harrison Street Corridor Charrette

The AIA-Fort Wayne, in cooperation with the City of Fort
Wayne’s
Community Development Division and the Downtown Improvement
District hosted a community design workshop for the Harrison
Street
corridor located in the heart of downtown.

As
part of the college’s Community Based Projects
(CBP) program,
Ball State University’s College of Architecture and
Planning students
conducted the multi-day charrette where the public was
invited to stop
by and comment about their thoughts and visions for downtown
and its
potential for infill redevelopment. Later this spring CBP
will return to
Fort Wayne to give a presentation open to the public highlighting
the
outcome and ideas generated by the workshops.
