AIA Indianapolis Hosted Daniel Friedman Lecture

AIA Indianapolis welcomed Daniel Friedman, Dean, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, on Oct. 18, for his lecture on Architectural Education of the Future.  Lecture attendees received 1.5 AIA/CES LUs.
 
A reception was held before the event at the AIA Indiana Bookstore.  Michael R. Shoulders, AIA AICP, President and CEO of VPS Architecture, who has written a new kind of novel, a fast-paced, sophisticated architectural thriller titled The Competition, spoke at the reception and was available to sign copies of his book.
 
Also, the reception featured an opportunity for AIA Indianapolis members and guests to meet Guillermo Vasquez De Velasco, Ph.D., the new Ball State University CAP Dean.
