The Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Architects elected new Executive Board Officers at their Annual Meeting on October 13, 2007 during the AIA Indiana/AIA Kentucky Regional Convention in Columbus, IN.

Executive Board Members for 2008 will be President Timothy J. Wall AIA, of Ken Herceg & Associates Inc., South Bend, IN; Vice President/President-Elect Debra S. Kunce, AIA, of Schmidt Associates Inc., Indianapolis, IN; Treasurer Drew White, AIA, of Axis Architecture & Interiors, Indianapolis, IN; Secretary Jackson R. Faber, AIA, of Hafer Associates, Evansville, IN; and Past President Cory D. Miller, AIA, of SchenkelShultz Architecture, Ft. Wayne, IN.

Established in 1892, the Indiana Chapter of the American Institute of Architects was founded with the intent to advance the organization's mission ". . . to promote the aesthetic, scientific and practical efficiency of the profession of architecture, work to advance the science and art of planning and building by advancing the standards of the architectural education, training and practice." 

The Chapter’s programs and activities have a statewide focus.  Services include: monitoring legislative issues and government regulations; professional liability insurance programs; health, life and other employee benefit programs; professional development and educational seminars; design assistance teams to further community planning and development; the annual convention and trade fair; social and recreational events; design awards programs; and support of Ball State and Notre Dame Universities Colleges of Architecture.
