For over forty years, the Indianapolis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects has sponsored this design competition for Indiana's high school students.

The 2010 Competition has begun!
Students are asked to design a Hostel Environment. Playing the role of architect, each student will be researching and designing a transient housing structure adjacent to 1 of 2 pre-determined European building sites. With the architectural program accommodating both art students studying abroad as well as artists traveling through the area, the stage will be set once again, for another year of innovative design solutions.

By participating in this workshop, you will learn more about the design process as well the architecture profession. You will get feedback on your individual work that you may choose to use or ignore. Following the feedback you receive does not ensure your competition success, nor does choosing to ignore the feedback ensure your competition failure. Please bring any work you would like reviewed.
